Hi there! Version 9 of Fool's Gold is now available, bringing with it some cool additions and tweaks!

The EXTRA ADVANCES section has been added - the first few entries are now available, allowing you to tool your PC with more unique capabilities. The DUELIST, VENGEFUL and HOUND COMPANION sets offer some new rules and mechanics that I hope you find interesting - I am particularly excited for people to introduce their new pet to the gang.

NEW ADVANCES have been added to some of the classes, and some amended and taken out. The abilities that Advances grant make a big difference to the balance and overall texture of the gameplay, so getting this dynamic right is important. but will take a bit of trial and error (and playtesting!).

NEW FLAVOUR TEXT now embellishes most of the class advances, hopefully giving some more illumination to the world and the characters within it.

And finally, the ADVICE FOR GAMEMASTERS section has been added! For now, it contains some questions for GMs that may help them solidify their vision of the churning lands of Folly. This section will be growing further, providing frameworks for locations, enemy creation and more, all with tips on how to make these elements your own!
